Computer graphics 1

Undergraduate Course, 78 students, 4 credits
The primary goal of this course is to introduce many important data structures and algorithms
that are useful for presenting data visually on a computer: hardware devices (in- and output
devices), overview, rasterization, clipping, filling algorithm, transformations, 3d pipeline,
modeling, shading, curves, surfaces, texture mapping, OpenGL, shading, lighting.
Computer graphics 2

Undergraduate Course, 78 students, 4 credits
Based on computer graphics I, this course focuses on advanced computer graphics topics:
advanced texture mapping, real-time algorithms, collision detection, shadows, reflections,
natural phenomena, particle systems, occlusion culling, culling, advanced data structures,
mixed reality devices, mixed reality applications.
Shader Programming

Undergraduate Course, 36 students, 3 credits
This elective course gives an overview of advanced CG technologies using nVIDIA’s shader
language Cg: Overview of GPU programming, GPU-model, Cg, Cg’s pipeline, Cg-language,
Cg+OpenGL, special effects using OpenGL and Cg.
Interactive Environments

Graduate Course, 18 students, 4 credits
This course focuses on mixed reality installations (from the first concepts through hardware
decisions to the realization). Moreover, it presents the production process with a special
emphasis on usability issues.
