Werner Kurschl, Space-Based versus Message-Passing Communication A Comparison

A lot of enterprise applications are powerful and demanding distributed applications. Message passing is a widely used communication paradigm, but it has some considerable limitations. These limitations have a great influence on the design and costs of a distributed application. A quite different communication paradigm is called Space-based Computing and it relaxes these limitations to some extent. Therefore it could be better to use Space-based Computing for the constuction of distributed applications in order to save time and costs and to build more reliable distributed applications.
